Raiders of the Lost Maw

Sooooo what went off with Raiders....?? The GM's took a bit of a break from ESO for quite a few months, we came back enjoyed playing with other friendly guilds and then decided to reform.  Back in November 2017 Tink started to reshape and reform the guild running raids again, AS was cleared on vet with a week or two of being out and then it was time to make some decisions.  Tino came back to ESO and raiders was fully reborn, we picked Prime up along the way and now we're an all rounded PVE and AD PvP guild!  Jordan helps out with PvP, Geoff made it to officer and between us we hope to have a bigger and better 2018!

What are we planning?  Well apart from the obvious raids, we have a progression group on VMOL again, Vet trails, dungeon farming and normal trial farming for sets and transmute crystals.  PvP groups for fun and hopefully as time goes on we can pick up a player or two that enjoys teaching duels and battlegrounds.  We want to do lorebook and sky shard runs and ll round general fun :)

Our guild houses have transmute stations, target dummies and a group centurion, plus crafting stations and people generally lurking around. If you want any help with anything don't forget to use chat or text chat.

A MASSIVE Congratulations to the whole team (not this guild) that have been dedicated and working their little socks off to finally complete Vet MOL - the first Kill on PS4 (EU & NA)!

With only one team on PC completing previously this was a HUGE achievement and I'm very proud of PallMall & co. after speaking to Simon on a few occasions and knowing just how much effort went into getting this xD

After getting off to a rocky start with the one and only 'HELL' ra.. an 11 man crew (including 2 woman for those that like to get technical)  smashed through the last boss to get a pretty decent 110k score - All be it probably would of gone better if we didn't have the cliff dive and a few other basic mistakes we made :')

So proud of everyone this week! Looking back a month ago we were training AA an getting acores of 115K.

This week the leadreboard has been really tight!  Everyone has been really good at focussing on the task in hand and working together to achieve leaderboard scores (for more than one of their chars) with wopping socres of 125, 126 & 127K - with the top score on 129k we werent that far behind!  

Finally the underdogs are catching up :p - on AA at least :')  Huge thanks to Faydan & Tino for running extra raids and training for our new new members! 

Many normal MOL were ran this week including running with someone outside the guild peoples to give them the help (we're nice like that :p ), however much more practice is needed on Vet as people time for committing to serious runs is limited at the moment :(  On the bright side quite a few people got some jewellery they were after :)  

I won't be sorry to wave goodbye to MOL for a few more weeks! 

This weeks trial has been MOL, Vet was attempted on Tuesday and progress is being made breaking through the first shield phase and tactics now down, watch this space one day we might just beat it :')  

Normal runs have been taking place with plans for 2 more to run Friday evening - get the training for tactics done on normal and surely Vet will be a walk through..right?... Hmm maybe time!

After a messy start we gathered two groups together to battle for the win!  It turned out a tie breaker with each participant recieving 10k gold each - Thanks again to everyone that donated for the prize fund :)

It's competition time!!  This Sunday will see Maw running group against group!  We will be running AA, Sanctum & HelRa, with points being awarded for the fatest time and best score for each trial! The prize is 60k for the winning team from x_t7ink_x - although if anyone wants to up the bet they're welcome :)  Let the games begin!

We all know the tribulations that is Hel Ra Hardmode - organising 12 people into a moving unit whilst Gargoyles are flying to life can be a logistical nightmare!  That being said we're training through the fun.  One group completed with a 94k score.  Fast, Fast, Fast one speedrun completed in 13 minutes!!

Elderscrolls have announced the first look at the Dark BH hitting consoles on the 14th June along with the removal of the Vet ranks..

Thursday saw 4 different AA runs scheduled in - taking 3 sets of mixed groups (including those new to AA)  we had an average speed run score of 84k on normal running in arround 14 minutes.  The last group did a Hardmode speedrun completing in just over 17 minutes and a 115k score

This weeks trial is AA - We will be running speed runs and Hardmode (maybe even combine the two)  message a raid leader or drop your interest on the FB page with your role :)

So we thought we'd give Vet MOL a go on Vet 16, not too bad we have the mechanics of the 1st boss down, just need to work on it :)

As usual we took trials completley seriously - I leave for two minutes and come back to this :')

Ok so R.I.P. the cake... What am I going to do now.. I missed half the XP week doing anything but levelling.  Nooo My vet 2 Sorc, will it ever make it to Vet 16 - Long live the grind!  

For now at least we have the memories...

Taking a group of 5 Elite and 7 brand NEW players to Sanctum last night, we completed with a £74k score.  I couldn't be more proud of the dedication to learn how to raid in this guild.  Massive thanks to everyone that took part :)

Yesterday we took two teams on training through Sanctum, not expecting to get past the first boss, the guys on the first run highly suprissed us smashing it down in one attempt!  We completed in just an hour (after all my blabbing) with a 79k score xD  The second team including 5 brand new people to sanctum and the usual suspects, trying out their new builds as healers and dps, completed a little later with a respectable 54k score!

The Elite crew ran through Sanctum Ophodia Hardmode with some new people last night to get them trained up!

Result - Completed! Ok so not quite the score we were going for but at least my healer got the achievement :)
